Public and Private Enforcement of Corporate and Securities Law - China and the World

Hong Kong, December 13-14, 2014

A joint academic conference convened by the Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies, the Michigan Law School and the Chinese University of Hong Kong at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

The meeting promises the attendance of some of the most important players in China and the world regarding this critical aspect of property rights enforcement, public and private, including the Hon. Jed Rakoff of the U.S. Southern District of New York, China People's University (Renda) Vice President and Dean Emeritus of the Renda Law School Wang Liming, Deputy Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SFC Alexa Lam, Michael Barr, former Assistant Treasury Secretary and one of the principal drafters of the Dodd-Frank Act, and a host of academics working in this area in Asia, Europe and North America.
